Sunset view from the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel overlooking downtown Singapore, Jan '17. It's $20 to take an elevator to the top to check out the view. I planned on visiting for maybe an hour but ended up staying for over 3. Singapore isn't the cheapest place to visit, yet its definitely worth checking out as its one of the safest places in the world, and the food might be arguably some of the best (stick Tokyo in that same category).
